Nighttime Anxiety Journal Prompts by Eleanor
Lying wide awake at night thinking about our to-do lists or something that happened that day is something we all have done. Not only do those nighttime worries keep us from a good night’s sleep, they also can cause anxiety and panic. A coping skill that has helped a lot of my clients is journaling before bed. I’ve listed some prompts below to help you write out those worries!
Name 5 emotions you've experienced today
Write out your to-do list for tomorrow
Create a worry list
Name 3 things you're grateful for
Visualize a peaceful moment & write down specifics from that moment
