Lane values authentic connection and strives to create a safe, open space for teens, college-aged, and adult women, as well as couples. Her primary focus is on fostering understanding and growth in her clients, with a deep respect for their unique experiences and perspectives. Lane’s style is a blend of collaborative and client-centered approaches. She incorporates aspects of humanistic therapy, emphasizing a holistic understanding of the person, and cognitive-behavioral techniques, when helpful, to address specific challenges.
Lane has experience in providing trauma-informed care from her time working in a crisis pregnancy center, as well as a women’s residential treatment center, ensuring that all interventions are grounded in safety and respect for clients’ past experiences. In addition to working with individuals, Lane is trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, as she is especially passionate about helping couples in chronic conflict and crisis get unstuck.
