Emily Keller, LPC-MHSP (t)
With a focus on empathy, trust, and practical solutions, Emily offers a safe space where clients can explore their challenges and work toward lasting emotional growth and well-being. She is collaborative, resourceful, warm and direct in her therapeutic approach. Emily's therapeutic style is informed by her experiences working with women in a residential treatment center and is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Additionally, Emily has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This is a type of therapy designed to help individuals reprocess traumatic memories through the use of eye movements or bilateral stimulation, mimicking the natural processing the brain experiences during REM sleep. Emily primarily works with individuals suffering from eating disorders or disordered eating, experiencing body image concerns, processing their spirituality, seeking to process trauma and children and women feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety and depression. Through a collaborative and empowering approach, Emily is dedicated to helping you develop the skills and insights necessary for overcoming challenges and moving forward with confidence and clarity.
